We are a group of neighbors living in the San Francisco West Portal and Inner Parkside neighborhoods who first organized in 2006, when we learned about a proposed high-density housing development planned for the 4.6 acre forested western side of the historic Arden Wood property. It was our goal to influence the size, scope and design of the project to ensure that it didn't adversely impact our neighborhood. While that project eventually failed, we continue to monitor events at Arden Wood, and will update this site as we learn more. We are not opposed to all development at Arden Wood, only bad development that doesn't blend with the existing neighborhood.

| All Seven (7) New Homes Have Sold | |
All of the homes developed on a subdivision of the Arden Wood property along 15th Avenue have sold and are now occupied. Traffic continues to worsen, though it's somewhat aleviated along 15th Ave. becuase the St. Francis Circle MUNI construction is periodically blocking access onto West Portal Ave (and subsequently to 15th Ave as well). | | Updated: 8/3/2010 | | | | No New Development Yet | | There's nothing much to report at this time regarding high-density development or subdivision of the Arden Wood property.
